Today is the Memorial of Our Lady of the Rosary, and I missed the times that I said the Rosaries on the behalf of my Dad, who was laying on the hospital bed at MD Anderson sleeping. I didn't know if he could hear my prayers or not, but somehow saying the Rosaries gave me much comfort. There were many repetitive Hail Marys, but somehow, I always said them as though, I would said it to Mother Mary, if I get to meet her. I knew my Dad was surprised when he first heard my saying of the Hail Marys, but over time in the hospital, he probably could care less. Yet he said that he missed the way I prayed. Here to you, Dad:
Hail Mary, full of grace, the Lord is with you,
Blessed are thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
Blessed are thou among women,
And blessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us, sinners,
Now and at the hour of our death.
Amen.
